There’s a special feeling about Broome that you can’t describe until you’ve been there. The Coral Coast, including places like Kalbarri and Coral Bay, is packed with jaw-dropping coastal views. And as for the Nullarbor – a lot of people find it boring, but I find it peaceful. There’s nothing like the wide, open road with nothing in sight except the landscape and the horizon.

Towing caravans in WA also means being prepared. It’s a vast state with plenty of remote areas where things can go wrong, and help isn’t always around the corner. If you break down in the middle of nowhere, it could be days before you get the parts you need or even someone who can help. That’s why I always carry spares and tools with me.
